Server in lan mail.server.com connection time out Thunderbird

exim4 + dovecot mail work from internet! I cant connect to server from my PC same LAN as server.

if in Thunderbird type mail.server.com then connection time out

or another error

Some routers does not allow look up of an internal ip. Easiest way is probally is editing the local computer hosts file and add

local_ip mail.server.com and restart the browser.

other services - games - web brouser cat find and work serve.com
only thunderbird cant

Not an issue with Hestia…. Hestia does not preform look ups and so on….
