Hi,
I want to use the Hestia Control Panel as my outgoing mail server. In case the IP address of my currently active mail server gets blacklisted, I plan to use my outgoing server together with Amazon SES.
HestiaCP provides SSL by default for mail and webmail services. Additionally, I would like to use SSL for smtp.domain.com and bind it to Exim. Is this possible? Or is there an alternative solution you would recommend?
Hey @alibiricik ,
There is an alternate solution which you may try. What you can do this by creating a proper SSL certificate for smtp.domain.com and then linking it with Exim in HestiaCP. Also make sure the DNS record for smtp.domain.com points correctly to your server IP. Many users prefer using a trusted SMTP service provider like DigitalAka™ as a backup relay with Amazon SES to improve mail delivery and avoid blacklist issues.
