[solved] Unable to change remote backup folder (rclone)

Hello, I don’t know if its by design, a limitation or a bug.

Im on hestia 1.8, When i setup the backups, i specified the remote folder “backups”. Now i would like to change that to “backups/folder”, but when i save the changes, the folder remains as “backups”.

I have taken a look at the documentation and the api commands, but i don’t see anything related to the remote folder.

That might be a bug. Try disabling → save and then enable it again.

yep, that did the trick.

Tomorrow i will confirm if the directory is used for backups and if everything is working as expected.

@eris I want to confirm that indeed, disabling the remote backups and enabling them again has fixed the issue and today the backups are copied to the new route.

This happen to me today. I’m using Hestia 1.9.4 and I confirm the bug.

To change remote backup folder, we need to disable remote backups and then enable them again and setup again the backups. Just changing the directory path will not work.
