Spamassassin was running under user debian-spamd originally, I don’t know when this changed in the last few updates? did the Hestia Team or spamassassin change the system user? it now is running as root…
but i still have user debian-spam as owner of /var/lib/spamassassin/*
Just confused at when this changed… Or if its just my server X/ ty

ok. I just check all the other servers running Hestia and all the ubuntu 20.04 servers now have root as spamassassins user.
All my debian ones don’t have mail on them so I can’t check that.
Do you know if this was a spamassassin change or something? it justs seems like a wierd change to happen…
Can anyone on debian check to see if it changed? I’m curious casue I had to fix my autolearn spam setup. and if this is a universal change i’ll have to change my autolearn repo
