Subdomain subdomain.domain.tld dont receive mails

Hi.

I created a subdomain (subdomain.domain.tld), I can send mails but no receive. The symbolic link on /etc/exim4/domains/ is created correctly.
subdomain.domain.tld → /home/%USER%/conf/mail/subdomain.domain.tld

The mails on domain.tld fully woks ok! I miss something on configuration?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @soguor,

What is the error you get when trying to send mails to your domain?

Hi @sahsanu.

Don’t appears error on logs and the sender dont receive an email reject error.

Then we need to know the actual domain name to know what’s going on.

The domain is arsem.ar and the subdomain es contacto.arsem.ar. Actually works on different servers, but i tried on the same server. Also I tried on lab with other domains.

telnet mail.contacto.arsem.ar 25
Trying 179.41.3.160...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

Seems you are rejecting connections to port 25.

Yes, It should only work on webmail. By webmail, sends ok, but don’t receive. On the main server (arsem.ar), the ports are available and I have the same problem. :S

Sorry but mail doesn’t work that way, a webmail is a mail client that sends/receives messages using a mail/imap/pop3 server, if no one can contact your mail server, you won’t be able to receive mails.

Yes, I Know it. I moved the subdomain to the domain’s server(rollback). In this server, they allowed all the ports but don’t receive mails. Also tried view the content on /home/%USER%/mail/contacto.arsem.ar and don’t have any mail.

Thanks @sahsanu for the help.

Well, on that server, connections to port 25 are also dropped.

$ telnet mail.contacto.arsem.ar 25
Trying 51.161.34.61...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out

I opened the ports.

Ok, now do you get an error when sending mails to your domain?

Nothing.

In this server, the other domains send and receive well.

Tell me a mail account that exists in that server for your domain contacto.arsem.ar and I’ll try to send a mail

Thanks. The mail account is [email protected]

I’ve sent a test mail and your server received it.

Yes, I received the mail. Thanks for your help!
