Suggestion for better Database management from control panel

  1. When creating Database there should have an extra field to tag what domain it associated to it.
  2. One click download of database dosen’t work. however, it works from phpmyadmin to download by exporting tables.
  3. Where should be the timeout when importing large DB or exporting large DB, not sure but what could be done is giving an notification that where to change the import export timeout session to set.

  1. Interesting, I mean I’m not sure how difficult will be this for developers to add this, even is a cool idea, since I havent seen this even on cPanel, but be asured if is complicated to add a field for identification this won’t be developed.

  2. I have notice this issue too on Hestia 1.9.3 even on fresh install, it shows an error, but just in case if you need it, after you perform the download request of the database and shows an error, you can find the file on /backup folder actually, I know would be lovely to be able to actually download it directly but in the meantime you can get them from there (also because if you don’t notice you can have a lot of database backups there, I now can be a little extreme from me saying this but… disk space haha).

  3. Have not this answer to be honest, in the past I have imported a big database through GUI and all ok, sometimes when I have perform this from phpMyadmin I got several server 500 errors, but after restarting server was actually imported properly.
