Text / Links in panel showing special characters in places they don't belong

Hello,

I am new here so forgive me if there is a post out there about this, I didn’t find it when googling and looking.

I have this corruption or something I guess we can call it to where all the text / links for users and so on is all scrambled and showing special characters in places they don’t belong. This happen after this last update, I do have nodeapp added could this be why this is going on?

Links will show up like: wpanel.xxx.com (xxx = directed information) so will the text.

If someone knows how to fix this let me know or send me a link?

What logs/files do you need to see etc?

Indeed it does and thanks for the find, I guess my Google ninja skills are slipping or i was just not think of the right key words to use. Thanks for the link it fixed my problem with one line of code

The Fix:

BUG: Raw HTML entities (., =) displaying in UI and breaking "Login as" links (v1.9.6)

I lied. I ended up investigating it further To fix it, edit /etc/hestiacp/hooks/pluginable.php and add this line: $html = html_entity_decode($html, ENT_QUOTES | ENT_HTML5, 'UTF-8'); Before this line: $dom->loadHTML( $html ); If you don’t want to edit it manually, execute this sed command: sed -i.bak 's/\$dom->loadHTML( \$html );/\$html = html_entity_decode(\$html, ENT_QUOTES | ENT_HTML5, '"'"'UTF-8'"'"');\n\t\t\$dom->loadHTML( \$html );/' /etc/hestiacp/hooks/pluginable.…

EDIT:
This broke the Advanced options button.
FIX: Removed NodeApp.
