Uninstall mariadb and migrate mariadb to new server

My server running mariadb, and I will migrate mariabd to new server.
Its possible unistall mariadb in my current server?
Or is this not a good idea?

Yes make sure to not remove php*-mysql packages

Also if you use webmail change the settings there
