Upgrading Ubuntu versions with HestiaCP installation

Hi!

I plan to upgrade a server from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS. I know the latest Hestia version supports 22.04, but I had a question:

If I have HestiaCP already installed, would I simply be able to use “sudo do-release-upgrade” without facing issues?

Or would I have to have a fresh and clean OS upgrade with fresh installation of HestiaCP?

[Note: I’m hosting on Oracle]
Thanks!

In the past I upgraded a server from Ubuntu 18 to 20 using the do-release-upgrade no issues with Hestia after the upgrade.

However, the upgrade from 20 to 22 requires a few additional items. Take a look at the documentation for OS upgrade. There is a section about this upgrade since a few minor things need to be done. I have not tried it myself yet. As always, make sure to back up all your data before.
