Usage of v-update-host-certificate

Hello community.

I understand that the command v-update-host-certificate, when run, will set a specific SSL certificate (defined by command line arguments) to the daemons exim, dovecot, ftp and hestia. What I would like to know is, if that command will be run automatically when the certificate is renewed.

I see on VESTA Forum, that if we would like to auto update the daemons with the updated certificate, we need to also do the following once:

echo "UPDATE_HOSTNAME_SSL='yes'" >> /usr/local/vesta/conf/vesta.conf

Does this apply to HESTIA too? (changing the path of course to /usr/local/hestia/conf/hestia.conf ).

Hi felix, yes, you can use the same commands, just change it to hestia.conf and it will work out of the box - including renew.
