Using HestiaCP as My Domain's DNS Without Adding Records at Registrar

I want to use HestiaCP’s built-in DNS for my domain instead of manually adding DNS records at my registrar. If I set up glue records (custom nameservers) like ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com at my registrar, will my domain automatically use Hestia’s DNS settings?

Also, will this prevent issues with mail delivery since all DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) will be managed inside Hestia? Or is it better to keep using my registrar’s DNS and manually add the records?

Would love to hear from anyone who has done this successfully. Thanks!

Yes if you want to use Hestia DNS you need to update the glue records…

If not update your register DNS manually with the correct DNS records for email
