V-add-web-domain [Error 2]

I create a domain using the command v-add-web-domain, but I get an error:
v-add-web-domain ‘gift’ ‘gift3.domain.com’ ‘xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx’ ‘yes’ [Error 2]

In this case the domain is created

E_INVALID=2

So some thing is invalid …

How can i understand what is invalid - the domain is created successfully

At first I started a new topic, but realized that my issue is IDENTICAL to this one. So here I am :slight_smile:

This is the command line I used via SSH:

v-add-dns-domain ‘USER-HERE’ ‘helloworld.com’ ‘IP-HERE’ ‘ns1.first-ns.de’ ‘robotns2.second-ns.de’ ‘robotns3.second-ns.com’ ‘’ ‘’ ‘’ ‘’ ‘’ ‘yes’ ‘no’

And here is the exact error from /var/log/hestia/error.log

2025-11-02 22:23:22 v-add-dns-domain 'USER-HERE' 'helloworld.com' 'IP-HERE' 'ns1.first-ns.de' 'robotns2.second-ns.de' 'robotns3.second-ns.com' '' '' '' '' '' 'yes' 'no' [Error 2]
Note the double space after v-add-dns-comain, if that could be a hint for anything.

I also tried via the Hestia WebUI and the result was exactly the same error in the log.

In either case (SSH Command / WebUI) I can see the DNS domain created in the Hestia WebUI. It resolves just fine when doing dig +short helloworld.com @SERVER

I also checked that the order and number of arguments are correct according to this useful post here It doesn't add domain DNS to me via API - #10 by sahsanu

What gives?
