Video streaming in Nextcloud

Hi,

I have a question regarding Nextcloud. I uploaded a video, but when I try to stream it from the browser, it gets downloaded instead of playing.

I tested the same on the Nextcloud demo, and videos there play directly in the browser.

Is there a specific configuration I need to adjust in HestiaCP to enable video streaming?

AFAIK, this should not be due to Hestia.

BTW: Depending on your browser if it supports HTML5 video playback, most browsers will directly play the video if it is mp4, but other formats would be downloaded as they are not supported by the browser. Nextcloud does not have a integrated fallback video player. I do not know if any integration has been done in recent years.

Also do a web search on help section of NC.

Also, you may need FFMPEG probably installed. Not all codec formats may play as well.
