VPS Transfer to new VPS

Hi Everyone,

I will be moving my VPS to a new VPS sometime next week. I will transfer all accounts from the backup folder and use scp to the new vps.

I currently use HestiaCP for full DNS.

When I purchase a new vps this will have a new IP address. when I restore the accounts into the new Hestia Installation will it automatically update the correct IP DNS settings for mail etc or will this have to be manually changed.

It will auomatically update the dns zone during restore.

Thank You Raphael for your reply. Anything I should be aware about restoring accounts on a new VPS? Thank you for the support and love Hestia. Is installation available on Ubuntu 24.04? or just Ubuntu 22.04 supported.

You can use beta install for Ubuntu 24.04 it should work fine just use the main branch and follow the instructions here:
