Webmail not working

I have added CAME and A record for mail.domain.xyz & webmail.domain.xyz but a click on the webmail Icon keeps leading me to a non present site.
Also https://domain.xyz/webmail & https://domain.xyz/mail only leads me to the Error 404 page instead of the login page which should be a roundcube login page as far I know.

What do I have to do to activate webmail for my domains?

As already written on github, webmail.domain.tld doesnt look like it exists. Please be sure, that you’ve created either a A record or CNAME (doesnt matter what, just not both together), then it should work out of the box.
