Where to specify exceptions for nginx cache

I am using Hestia panel with nginx only. I would like to use the fast-cgi cache with some exceptions - e.g. to exclude post requests.

Where should I specify these exceptions? In the customised template file (.tpl and .stpl) for the website, or somewhere else?

Post request are allready bypassed it only works with get requests …

Thank you for the reply, eris. However, I would like to be able to control other aspects of the cache as well, so it would be helpful to know where to specify other cache parameters.
