Thank you for the honest update. It is a bit disheartening to hear that the project’s pace has slowed down, as many of us were looking forward to seeing features like OpenLiteSpeed support fully implemented and functional.
Given the value Hestia brings to the community, have the founders considered a paid/pro version or a subscription model for specific advanced features? I believe many users would be willing to contribute financially if it helps the team dedicate more time to development and ensures the project’s long-term growth.
Hestia is a great tool, and it would be a shame to see its evolution stall.

Yes, but it was abandoned as it didn’t make any sense. We also considered it for support services, but due to our European location, the hourly rate would have been too high.

I think that in order to finance the project, in addition to individual contributions, they would have to find sponsors to support the project. I see many hosting companies offering Hestia CP, but I guess they don’t contribute to the project. It would be a shame if such an important project were to be lost due to lack of funding.

What is the plan? yes project’s scope extended because of increasing of opensource integrations and rapid development of them. The other projects release updates and new releases. So HestiaCP need to follow anc catch them. This requires financial supports. HestiaTeam ı think should set up foundation and try to fins commercial sponsors. May be the companies which manage more than 20 sites via HestiaCP should pay extra money.
We can pay team members’ ai model fees chatgpt, claude etc. to increase development process. Using of ai is reality we can not refuse to use it. Also may crowd funding is organised. Another sponsor programs can be consider like githup sponsor.

Have you heard of free projects that are designed like that from the start? Why do you insist on paying if you are not asked to? That is not nice.
Hestia 1.9.4 works flawlessly and it is not clear what you need AI for?

the reality of the life is this. ideology does nnot feed you always. financial instruments effects like catalyst effect in chemicals. you can get outputs without catalyst but you pay with time and more effort.
