Idea: Terminal console in hestiacp

Do you think it will be cool if we add to HestiaCP a terminal that allows control via the web version. (A lot of control panels have it and … I think it’s quite nice)

Have discussed it the past internally:

  • Yes again we have no plans to support and we have discussed it in the past.
  • Root access via panel is no go…
  • We don’t feel it is secure enough to allow users to use ssh in the current state.
  • Admin should be able to connect over any ssh client they want
