I use Debian for entire life (Ubuntu is slower sometimes). Never had problem. Before 4-5 years tried the CentOS and always very hard to install anything from internet manuals, always errors… I say the CentOS is superTRASH, garbage and people laughed at me…
Later CentOS died and no more updates. So yet, now who’s laughing?

I totally agree. I can’t STAND when 90% of the techies I meet run cPanel on CentOS 7, and they have NO idea what to do now.
I can’t STAND the price on cPanel. Yeah, I fell in love with it about 15 years ago. But I don’t have the budget for a $110 /month Reseller Package from GoDaddy.

FreeBSD running BHyve is going to be the next big thing… I not trying to get something from you for nothing, but what would it take to support the ‘Jails’ type offerings it has for Hestia… when you spin up a new domain, it would create a new Jail to run it in. I have a lot of ideas on this topic if you would like to talk, and if you do, the. Delete this thread and posts.
